We recommend waiting until the product is received before scheduling your installation. Floor should be installed blending planks from several cartons at the same time to ensure good color and shade mixture throughout the installation.

What is the expansion width requirement?
3/8 Inch. The expansion width requirement 3/8" width minimum around the perimeter of the flooring and any fixed objects. Quarter round or baseboard molding will cover this expansion space. Ensure moldings and transitions strips will not pinch the flooring and never allow nails or screws to enter the rigid luxury vinyl flooring or the expansion zone around the flooring perimeter. This will prevent the floor from properly expanding and contracting as well as allowing the structure to move freely over the floor.
What is the Level requirements?
3/16 Inch over 10 feet. All floors shall be flat and smooth within 3/16 inch over a 10-foot span.
Where are transition molding required?
50 Feet. For rooms that have a run greater than 50 feet, a transition strip must be installed. This provides space for the flooring to expand and contract into. Ensure moldings and transitions strips will not pinch the flooring. This will prevent the floor from properly expanding and contracting as well as allowing the structure to move freely over the floor.
Identifying the tongue and groove:
The tongue side of the board is placed along the wall during installation. Make sure to trim off the tongue on the first row along the wall to ensure proper expansion space.
How do I clean the floor?
Sweep the floor regularly with a soft bristle broom to remove loose dirt. Wash the floor with non-abrasive, neutral PH floor cleaner only. For everyday maintenance, a mop moistened with warm water will suffice.
